Danny Masterson He faces a 30-year prison sentence for rape. The actor is especially known for his portrayal of Steven Hyde in all eight seasons of That ’70s Show. She also participated in 50 episodes of the ranch on Netflix.
The actor was indicted in 2020 for a series of sexual assaults that occurred between 2001 and 2003 at his home in the Hollywood Hills. Ultimately, he was charged with three rapes. After the annulment of the first trial and the holding of a second, Danny Masterson was found guilty for two of the three charges against him.
According to local media, during the reading of the verdict, his partner, the actress Bijou Phillips, could be heard crying in the courtroom and his brother-in-law —also an actor— Billy Baldwin in shock. The actor listened to the sentence with no expression on his face, but seemed stunned as he was handcuffed.

In 2017, three women reported Danny Masterson to the Los Angeles police for sexual assault. The actor, through his agent, denied the accusations. Later, two more women revealed that they were victims of de Masterson in similar situations. After the accusations Netflix fired the actor from the ranch.
At the end of the same year, Cedric Bixler-Zavala, the vocalist of The Mars Volta and At the Drive-In claimed that Danny Masterson raped his wife. Later, in August 2019, four more women filed a lawsuit against the actor and the Church of Scientology for harassment after the rape complaint.
Among the accusations against Masterson and the Church of Scientology, in addition to harassment and persecution, is the death of the pet of one of the people who denounced the actor under very strange conditions. Then, in 2020, Bixler-Zavala also reported that he had to put down one of his dogs for poisoning, under strange circumstances.
Although Danny Masterson never responded to Cedric Bixler-Zavala’s accusations, his wife, Bijou Philips, mocked the allegations on her Instagram account. Finally, the actor responded to one of the plaintiffs, an ex-partner, claiming that “he will not have a public battle, that this will happen in the courts, where the truth will be exposed and he will be victorious.”
