.- The GDP of all Latin American countries is 5 billion dollars. If we were the same country we would only be below China and the United States.
.- In a very relevant fact, the internet penetration of the main countries of Latin America is superior to China and India and is similar to more developed countries.
.- The adoption of smartphones has increased by 40 percent, in the last 4 years. The most used mobile operating system is Android, far above IOS.
.- Mexico and Colombia have more expensive mobile data costs than the United States and Germany.
.- In the last 6 years streaming has grown exponentially. On the contrary, pay television stagnated its growth, even presenting a small, but constant, fall.
.- The growth of electronic commerce, forced by the pandemic, has been maintained after it. Virtually all product categories show sales growth from Internet.
.- Remote work continued after the coronavirus and far exceeds face-to-face positions. 36% of companies allow their workers to work remotely, while 28% of companies have a mixed modality.
.- People who have remote jobs have higher levels of satisfaction and productivity. A very curious fact is that productivity is higher when the work is more remote.
.- Approximately 50% of investments in technology companies in Latin America are made by regional companies. The other 50% is done by Silicon Valley funds, which represents a confidence boost of American companies, in our StartUps.
.- The adoption of technology by SMEs is very lowsince they have not been able to take advantage of software solutions to grow.
.- Latin America has very high levels of web 3.0 adoption. Stand out, Argentina and Venezuela, which have been forced by necessity, product of their inflationary economies; and Mexico, where it has been used to send remittances.
