According to a study executed by eMarketerThis industry generates millions of dollars, since around 516 billion dollars are spent annually on advertising in the media. North America being the main focus of investment in the sector, where the United States alone is the largest advertising market in the world, with spending that exceeded 240 billion dollars, according to Zenith data.
Ice cream shop wins over consumers
Through the social network Twitter, a creative poster used by the Fabbrica del Gelato de Vigo, in Spain, has gone viral thanks to the curious message that is read.
The poster has caught the attention of consumers and the digital pulse, since the owners of this establishment have added to the classic “You can’t buy happiness, but you can buy ice cream, which is pretty much the same” two simple words that indicate where that happiness is found, “ice cream” inside the premises, “cruel world” far from the refrigerators of the Italian ice cream parlor.
Quickly, the creative message went to the social network Twitter, where in less than three days, the tweet accumulates more than 110 thousand ‘likes’ and 12 thousand retweets, which has made the establishment viral.

The creativity of an advertising and marketing campaign is one of the factors that determine its chances of success and generating empathy in the public and consumers.
Likewise, with data from the Research Department of Merca 2.0, in a study carried out on the impression that consumers have regarding the creativity of Mexican brands, it stands out that “51.19 percent of those consulted consider that Mexican brands are creative because they generate good messages that motivate them to identify with them.”
These types of strategies are not the only ones made by brands, especially by small businesses that are looking for ways to win over consumers. As an example, many stories are beginning to emerge on social networks, among many is that of Oxxo employees who have won the hearts of consumers for their creative way of promoting some items in their stores throughout the country.
In this sense, advertising has become a very important tool for brands and especially for consumers who are increasingly attracted to creativity.
