It seems the opposite, but the conflict between Ukraine Y Russia hasn’t finished yet, which started a couple of months ago and it seems that it still hasn’t will have a peaceful resolution. Given this, some companies have shown solidarity with Ukraine, and one of them is Electronic Artswho seems to lend his support by launching FIFA 23.
Through a statement, the company said that the Russian clubs will be removed from the equation until the conflict is over, or may even extend a little longer depending on the situation. It is worth noting that EA had already done similar, because a couple of months ago he canceled the distribution of his games to Russia and also the withdrawal of the Russian team in FIFA 22.
Here is a snippet of his message:
EA Sports stands in solidarity with the Ukrainian people and, like so many voices across the world of football, calls for peace and an end to the invasion of Ukraine.
In agreement with our partners at FIFA and UEFA, EA Sports will not include the Russian national team and Russian clubs in FIFA 23.
It is worth commenting that EA it also banned some Russian accounts from having online competitive modes. All in order to show empathy towards the country that was attacked without warning.
Remember that FIFA 23 the is launched September 30th in PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, Stadia and PC.
