In her transition process, at first she was afraid of the lack of assimilation and awareness that corporations have with people in the transgender community, however, everything changed for her when she joined Schneider Electric.

Although she had low expectations, she was pleasantly surprised to realize how valuable her career as an engineer was to the company, regardless of her sexual orientation or gender identity.
“Diversity is a very broad word, that’s why you have to know how to embrace differences. Within Schneider Electric I feel like a lucky woman to have a team that makes me part of it and that really cares about my abilities, nothing more”, assured Aria Silva.
Currently, he collaborates in Pride initiatives and one goal that he has in mind is the development of a protocol for the transgender community within the company.
