microsoft freed a new update for your Xbox app. With this new version, its application takes inspiration from social networks like Snapchat or Instagramwhere the famous Stories are used to share our favorite content with friends for 24 hours.
On this occasion, however, we will not share photos of our vanilla latte from Starbucks. The novelty comes to allow us share images and videos of our favorite games with all our friends and the rest of the Xbox community. In addition, you can also show your achievements through these stories.
As in other services of this style, you can answer the stories of your friends with messages or reactions. This can always be the beginning of an interesting chat, and it seems that Microsoft wants its users to strengthen ties.
The new Stories feature for the Xbox app is now available in Australia. It is expected, of course, that add more regions over time, so you’ll have to wait if you want it to come to yours. Of course, you can enjoy it whether you have Android or iOS.
Available now in Australia with more Xbox-supported regions coming soon, your feed of activities will be renewing in the Xbox app. Stories allow you to show off your skills and keep up with your friends. Other news of the update
In addition to the arrival of stories on Xbox, the company also celebrates the inclusion of other novelties. Among them, we have the Quality of service labeling. This new proposal allows Xbox consoles to prioritize certain sections that require outgoing and latency-sensitive network traffic. For example, group chat, game streaming, and online multiplayer.
With this new feature you can “protect your gaming experience against connection problems during times of congestion on supported networks,” as confirmed on the Xbox website.
