POCO has just introduced a new mid-range device that wants to destroy the market. Of course, if you have been attentive to the leaks of this POCO M2 Pro you will know that it is not a completely new device. It has the same hardware and the same design as the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro. Of course, it not only comes as the cheapest POCO mobile but also as a great mid-range option. Its hardware is well known and you probably won’t be able to buy the terminal in your country, but POCO’s releases are always interesting. This POCO M2 Pro is ridiculously priced for everything it offers.
A renamed Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro priced at $ 186
There is not much to tell about this new smartphone, because exactly the same mobile that we saw a couple of months ago presented by Redmi. Its design is identical, keeping the glass back and the double tone. It also maintains the rear camera module, the fingerprint sensor on one side and the front with a central hole.
The only real difference in design is found on the back because the new device reads POCO and not Redmi. The rest of the details are exactly the same since it is a name change to give more market exit to the original Redmi Note 9 Pro. Not even its characteristics change.

POCO M2 Pro price and availability
This POCO M2 Pro has been presented in India and we will hardly see it in stores in Europe or Latin America. In these markets the Redmi Note 9 Pro is already sold, so a new device with a minimal change would not make much sense. Still, we already know that Xiaomi does very strange things with its catalog, so it will have to wait.
