It is normally applied on the surface, but is often more efficient if it is incorporated into the soil. It can be dissolved in water and applied to the soil as a solution in the irrigation water, or it can be applied by foliar application, so that it is absorbed by the leaves.
It is recommended for cereal, fruit and vegetable crops. Its application must be based on the requirements of the crop and soil contributions.
4.- Citroline
If you are familiar with agriculture or big crops, then it is very likely that you have heard of this substance.
It is obtained from the mixture of a basic mineral paraffinic oil from refining and 1% of a fast-breaking additive, and is used as an insecticide, herbicide and agricultural pesticide in fruit crops, vegetables and ornamental trees in general.
Pemex produces it at the Salamanca refinery.
5.- Isopropyl alcohol
You’re probably familiar with it, but DO NOT confuse it with the ethyl alcohol (or ethanol) you have in your home, office, or school medicine cabinet.
It has multiple uses for the pharmaceutical industry, perfumeries and cosmetics. It is used in the production of degreasers, paint solvents, varnishes, lithography, quick-drying inks, intermediate in the manufacture of chemical products, and much more.
Pemex produces it from the reaction of chemical grade propylene and demineralized water, in the presence of a catalyst. It is also produced at the Salamanca refinery.
