For the director, a greater participation of women in this E-100 edition confirms the results in the X-ray of Entrepreneurship in Mexico 2021, Women’s edition, since currently companies founded by female entrepreneurs achieve profitability 13% faster than men.
The E-100, in its 2022 version, includes ventures that range from one or two years of life to three decades of operation. These are ideas that, making use of technology, are transforming services and goods, putting them at the service of vulnerable groups or that are transcending with their exports in various regions of the world.
Among the main entities that contributed the largest number of entrepreneurs to the list are Mexico City, Nuevo León, State of Mexico, Jalisco, Oaxaca and Guanajuato. Although projects from Hidalgo, Aguascalientes, Tamaulipas, Veracruz, Michoacán, Tabasco, Querétaro, Sinaloa, Guerrero, Chihuahua, Morelos and Durango also participated in the final round.

It is a Community Forestry Company made up of 28 women (single mothers, ejidatarios, daughters and wives of ejidatarios) from the Forest Ejido “Las Milpas y Anexos” in the municipality of Tamazula, in Durango. They are in charge of taking advantage of the waste generated by the ejido sawmill to transform it into wood by-products for daily use.
