We will cut, first, the pumpkin into cubes. We will remove the skin from the apple and the pear and we will also cut them into cubes, the orange we will peel without leaving a white part, which we will discard.
We will put all the fruits in a saucepan, the pumpkin cubes and we grate a little fresh ginger to taste, on top of them. Add 100 milliliters of water, salt and pepper and add the milk and cream to the bowl where the fruits are. We also add the grated nutmeg and to taste.
We start to cook all these ingredients over medium heat until the pumpkin is somewhat soft, we lower the heat and leave it for 40 minutes. Once that time has passed, we beat everything so that it is a very smooth and fine mixture. We correct by adding more salt or pepper if necessary.
