The ceramics from Fajalauza It arrived in Europe through Al-Andalus, between the 11th and 12th centuries, and over time the original geometric motifs were transformed into branches, flowers and birds. His pieces were part of the household trousseau of all the houses of the kingdom of Granada, and with the passage of time it reached all corners of our territory. His pieces were not decorative or sophisticated, but functional, for everyday life, simple, popular and cheerful.

Now Zara Home check into the historical archive from the tricentennial factory, from the old workshop of the potter from Granada Cecilio Morales, to rescue some of his old designs that are part of this collaboration with Zara Home full of pieces unique, subject to random manual imprint.
Because work continues here like five centuries ago: first the piece is molded in clay, dried and baked in a biscuit oven, then bathes in the white coverwhich gives shine and insulation, is signed, painted by hand and, finally, fired again.
The result is a unique piece, the result of an artisanal process that aspires to keep our culture alive and value it.
