We have received credible information that there could be an attack on our social media accounts soon, using an internal source on @Twitter to circumvent our security.
There are no surprise mintages. Never.
Shortly after warning the community, Twitter officials began actively monitoring account activities, in addition to fortifying their current security. While issuing the proactive warning, Goner informed investors that the company would never conduct surprise mints, a popular method attackers use to lure victims.
The popularity and public demand for Yuga Labs’ NFT offerings led to the unintended rise of ape-themed scams. On June 5, attackers managed to break into Yuga Labs’ discord groups BAYC and OtherSide and seized more than 145 Ether (ETH).
