Humanity is full of stories and experiences, which in particular cases, become essential. In these times of digital platforms, those moments that remind us of our sensitivity deserve a ‘click’ and a ‘follow’ -so that thousands of users can be part of these anecdotes. This is the case of Emily Watlington, a user of Twitterwho when opening Google Maps was tremendously surprised to find that on this platform there was a great memory with a friend of his who passed away.
This is a photograph that was captured on a street called Street View, located in Cambridge, Massachusetts. The memory would be registered in the year 2016.
The two can be seen with bags raising their arms, on a traffic light pole, as if they were having a great day after coming shopping. This provoked the reaction of Watlington, who did not wait to count that great moment. The Twitter user captured the image to share on her profile.
The ‘post’ was so moving that it went viral instantly. “I lost a close friend last year and I miss him so much but we are dancing together forever on Google Maps”Emily wrote.
His comment was accompanied by a sad face emoji. In her profile, she is listed as an art critic and senior editor; plus she’s a ‘spargel konigin’ wannabe.
What Emily did not reveal to us in this publication was the name of her deceased friend, who, as can be seen in the photograph, was her perfect accomplice, her confidante and her great companion, who was captured forever, while walking through a street.
