So far, this clip of just over two minutes has collected nearly a million views.
Young people who call themselves “whitexicans” are attracting attention on TikTok for their “tutorial” to travel on the Metro Collective Transportation System (STC) from Mexico City (CDMX).
The term “whitexican” has become a trend in recent years, referring to those people who have certain economic and social privileges, but who, in social networks, show empathy with those who do not enjoy the same possibilities.
In some way, it can be said that it is a term that was born on the internet, as part of a new language that emerged on social networks, generally driven by the new generations of Internet users who see in this type of platform a way of understanding what what happens in your environment.
And it is that, in reality, we cannot deny that today social networks are the ones that, in a certain way, dominate the world; all conversations are embedded in Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and of course TikTokthe Chinese platform that, as a result of the arrival of the pandemic, managed to exceed one billion users globally.
Now, it should be noted that a large part of the attraction of TikTok is, without a doubt, its audience, this being primarily young people between 16 and 24 years of age, that is, users belonging to the so-called Generation Z who, among other things, have changed course from different perspectives.

Thus, if we take these data into account, it is not surprising that the Chinese social network is that new communication channel for young audiences, as is the case with a recently published video that has caught the attention of several users.
The video was published on the account of the tiktoker Alejandro Guizar, @soytualex, who, together with a group of young people considered “whitexicans”, created a tutorial to travel on the CDMX Metro.
So far, said clip is close to reaching a million views and, far from receiving criticism, the comments are actually positive, despite the fact that, as can be seen in the video, it gives the impression that it is about a parody

In the end, today, the panorama of social networks is like this, platforms that function as containers to store all kinds of content, this being, now, one of its main values.
In that sense, TikTok, since its inception, has become the favorite social network of young people, of the so-called Generation Zand, without a doubt, a great tool for those who are dedicated to creating content around the world.
So, from this perspective, if something has endowed the different content platforms available, it is creativity; Any social network designed as a space to share experiences offers great opportunities to work on creative content.
We live in a context where social networks continue to position themselves more and more not only in the taste of Internet users, but also in the strategies of brands and/or companies, which seek to reach the largest number of possible audiences and, mainly, to young people.
Let us not forget that, in these times, influencers are an important part of brand strategies in order to create a greater bond with consumers.
