One of the most acclaimed characters in the sequel to Black Panther is Namorthe King of Atlantis in Marvel who plays the Mexican Tenoch Huerta and who reacted with special amazement to see a cosplay of his role.
As readers of Marvel comics well remember, Namor, also known as the submarinerwas the impulsive son of a human marine captain and a princess of Atlantis, hence his mutant origin, which boosted his powers.
His skills lay in his super-strength, including supernatural swimming and mutant flight abilities, along with telepathic control over fish and sea animals. In the MCU, he is being portrayed as a villain, but is considered an anti-hero.
Namor’s spectacular cosplay
To see the premiere of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, a young Mexican named Edwin Iturriaga attended the theater dressed as Namor.
As the report published on the website of Univisionwhile the native of Quintana Roo waited in line to buy his tickets, several fans who posted the images on social networks and even made a funny meme were photographed.
This young man did not expect to go viral, but he took advantage of his minutes of fame to express himself about it on TikTok, adding the photos: “Like when you cosplay for fun and it goes viral”.
As if that were not enough, Tenoch Huerta himself saw the young Mexican’s cosplay, after the influencer Yubal Olearte interviewed him and showed him the cosplay. The actor’s reaction was:Oh daddy, oh!”.
