The pre-load of the first stage of the new Mario Kart 8 Deluxe DLC is now available for Nintendo Switch Online members with the Expansion Pack. The DLC is part of the ‘Booster Course Pass’, which will release 48 tracks across six stages of content, expected to roll out through 2023.

The first stage of the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe ‘Booster Course Pass’ will be released on March 18, but fans can already download the new content in advance. According to the official Nintendo UK Twitter account, Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack subscribers can now pre-load Stage 1 of the DLC. This can be done by visiting the Booster Course Pass page in the Nintendo eShop, which should have an option for the Expansion Pack next to the option to purchase it directly. Selecting this option will start the preload.
Although Mario Kart 8 Deluxe will receive forty tracks in future updates, the circuits that appear in the first stage are divided into two cups. The Golden Dash Cup has Paris Promenade (Mario Kart Tour), Toad Circuit (Mario Kart 7), Choco Mountain (Mario Kart 64), and Coconut Mall (Mario Kart Wii). And the Lucky Cat Cup has Tokyo Blur (Mario Kart Tour), Shroom Ridge (Mario Kart DS), Sky Garden (Mario Kart: Super Circuit), and Ninja Hideaway (Mario Kart Tour).
