Xiaomi seems to have gotten a taste for MediaTek processors. After presenting a Redmi Note 11 Series totally dominated by this chipset manufacturer, up to four new models have appeared in the MIUI code also integrating a MediaTek processor.
As we can read from XIAOMIUI, Xiaomi has started working on the software development of four new mobiles that in addition to integrating a MediaTek processor, will debut under the brand “Redmi”.
We could be facing a new entry range
In detail, these four new devices that have appeared in the MIUI internal code respond to the codenames life, live, spes and veuz and apparently they could be part of the members that will make up Xiaomi’s next entry-level range.
Similarly, for the moment everything remains a mystery. We will have to wait for the appearance of a new certification to know in detail what its characteristics will be and in which range of smartphones it will be located.
In this way, Xiaomi once again leaves Qualcomm processors aside to give way, once again, to the inexpensive MediaTek. Thanks to these, the company manages to offer devices with a great quality / price ratio, also adding 5G technology.
