Finally, it has been officially presented. Xiaomi MIX Fold 3 and we come across a next-generation folding screen smartphone with quite a bit of power and some somewhat controversial design decisions.
For some time we have already seen the Chinese manufacturer participating in a variable but active way in this increasingly competitive market where samsung it has managed to position itself as the benchmark and spearhead, innovating with each new generation.
A few weeks ago we had the opportunity to go to the front row to witness the launch of the Galaxy Z Fold 5 to leave us impressed with the degree of attention to detail and improvement in the multiple areas of opportunity that were still open and current.
At the time, our honest impression is that it seemed pretty complex or next to impossible that someone could catch up with Samsung and give it absolute competition head-on. But now with the Xiaomi MIX Fold 3 we have our doubts.
This is the Xiaomi MIX Fold 3: Leica camera and a lot of power
To understand the commercial potential of Xiaomi MIX Fold 3 it is best to thoroughly analyze your own list of technical specifications.
Where we find an interesting mix of hardware to achieve a device of striking dimensions but that stands out for one main detail. The presence of Leica in his beastly camera:
- Dimensions: Folded: 161.2 x 73.5 x 10.96 mm. Unfolded: 161.2 x 143.28 x 5.26mm
- Weight: 259/255 grams
- External Screen: AMOLED E6, HDR10+, 6.56-inch Dolby Vision, with a resolution of 2520 x 1080 pixels and an adaptive refresh rate of 120 Hz. With a maximum brightness of 2,600 nits and Gorilla Glass Victus 2.
- Internal display: OLED LTPO E6 foldable HDR10+, 8.03-inch Dolby Vision with 2K+ resolution at 2160 x 1916 pixels and 120Hz adaptive refresh rate. With a maximum brightness of 2,600 nits.

We are therefore facing a real beast where the photographic section stands out far above all the other exponents on the market.
Although, as would be obvious to expect, it will not be cheap, since it will be around USD $1,250. The bad news is that there are no plans for it to go on sale outside of China. For now.
