In addition to announcing the official presentation date of the Xiaomi Mi Mix 4, Xiaomi has revealed when we will see the arrival of MIUI 13, that new version that could finally mark a before and after in MIUI, correcting errors and in general, optimizing the operation of the system.
Although, everything indicated that it would be throughout this month of August when we would see the debut of MIUI 13, the CEO and founder of Xiaomi, Lei Jun, has confirmed that we will have to wait until the end of the year, with exactly the following words “MIUI 13 will be launched at the end of the year and I hope it lives up to your expectations.”
Thus, The Xiaomi Mi Mix 4 and Mi Pad 5 will be launched on the market together with MIUI 12.5, these being the ones that at the end of the year will probably be updated first to MIUI 13, thus welcoming a new face lift as we have already seen in some of the latest MIUI betas.
Which Xiaomi devices should be updated to MIUI 13
If we take into account Xiaomi’s update policy, MIUI 13 should reach a wide variety of devices, mainly those that have no more than two years old: Therefore, all the following smartphones should see this update:
- Mi 11 Series, Mi 10 Series, Mi 10T Series, Mi 9 Series
- Redmi K40, K30 series
- Redmi Note 10 Series, Redmi Note 9 and some models of the Redmi Note 8 Series and Redmi 9 Series
- Mi Note 10 series
As we said, the list of devices is quite varied if we take into account the large number of devices that make up each Series. Likewise, as is happening with MIUI 12.5, it would not be surprising that MIUI 13 also comes to other devices by surprise.
