During the Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase last month Obsidian Entertainment presented a trailer for grounded that showed us everything we can expect in the final version of the game, but fortunately the license is going to be expanded, since it has just been announced that it will have a television adaptation in the form of animated series.
The site Deadline has just announced that Grounded, the Obsidian Entertainment video game, will be adapted for television in the form of an animated series written by Brent Friedman, known for his work on Star Wars: Clone Wars. The series will be produced by Xbox and Obsidian Entertainment in association with Waterproof Studios/SC Productions, Kinetic Media and Bardel Entertainment.

The Grounded series will be set within the same universe as the video game, and will feature four friends who come across technology to shrink themselves to a size of about 5cm tall. Now the four friends must learn to survive in the jungle that their backyard has become.
Grounded is available on Xbox consoles and PC as part of the Xbox Game Previews program, which works similarly to Steam Early Access. Thanks to this, it is possible to play it if you buy it in advance or if you are subscribed to the Xbox Game Pass service on Xbox One, Xbox Series X | S and PC.
Grounded is a game in development by Obsidian Entertainment, the studio that brought us Fall Out: New Vegas and The Outer World, which is also developing Pentiment, announced a month ago at the Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase. Obsidian Entertainment is part of Xbox Game Studios, so the license belongs to Microsoft.
