Resident Evil Village isn’t coming to Xbox Game Pass…for now.
It was at the beginning of the week when the official Xbox Store page indicated that Resident Evil Village would be available through Xbox Game Pass in the near future. However, since Microsoft has already communicated that the Capcom game will not reach the servicesince the message was an error.
In a message on the social network of Twitter, Larry “Major Nelson” Hryb of Xbox has clarified that the message about the arrival of Resdient Evil Village to Xbox Game Pass has been deleted after being a mistake. According to Hryb, there are no current plans to bring the game to the subscription service at the moment. In fact, this is more in line with internal reports that were leaked before the game’s release that stated that Sony and Capcom had an agreement so that the latter would not release the game on competing subscription services such as Stadia Pro or the mentioned above Xbox Game Pass.
This was an error with how a discount for the title was displayed in the Microsoft Store and has since been corrected. There are no current plans to bring Resident Evil Village to Game Pass

It is worth mentioning that the clause of not releasing Resident Evil Village ended after the year of release, so until next May 5 it would be impossible to arrive at Xbox Game Pass.
We will have to wait now to see if Resident Evil Village ends up coming to Xbox Game Pass at a later date. At the moment it seems that the game will not receive additional content, while Resident Evil Outrage could have been cancelled. In fact, what does seem to be announced soon is the Resident Evil 4 Remake.
