As if the Xbox and Bethesda event that has already been announced for June 12, lasting an hour and a half, were not enough, Xbox has confirmed that it will organize a event with extended material on June 14. There will be “new trailers and in-depth looks” of Sunday announcements.
This announcement has taken place through the official blog of xboxwire surreptitiously in an entry explaining how to watch the event on June 12 and answers some frequently asked questions, such as the broadcast quality or in which languages the subtitles can be followed. As usual, the event will be broadcast live on Twitch, YouTube, Twitter, Facebook and, as a novelty, on Tiktok.
“Stay tuned for Xbox Games Showcase Extended on June 14 at 7:00 p.m. PT, where we’ll share new trailers, take a deeper look at Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase news, and talk to some of your favorite game makers,” Xbox confirms. As the main event, this extended show will have a duration of 90 minutes. It is expected to be a much more relaxed format with talks with developers, similar to the old Inside Xbox format.
Surprises from the Xbox & Bethesda Showcase
Each one has their own predictions of what we will see next Sunday at the Xbox and Bethesda event, but in the last few hours the first two games that will present news seem to have been confirmed. Another of the surprises of the night could come from Obsidian Entertainment and Josh Sawyer. The former head of Fallout: New Vegas and Pillars of Eternity would be working on a new investigative conversational RPG.
Numerous announcements are expected from the teams that make up Xbox Game Studios, which could also participate in the extended coverage on June 14.
