The consultation on the appreciation of products and services to its users is not new on the part of Apple. Although if recurrent in recent days. After inquiring about the features of the iPad mini, now the company has consulted users of the 12-inch MacBook, launched in 2015 and currently discontinued.
As shared by some users who have received the questionnaire, Apple has asked simple questions asking customers for their opinion on laptop size, features and what they would change about it.
Apple asks about 12-inch MacBook
Although it is about a model not currently available, the survey suggests that Apple may be beginning to realize the market that exists for ultrathin laptops and might be contemplating work on a Mac laptop designed for that demographic.
Apple announced the 12-inch MacBook in 2015 as an ultra-light and slim laptop intended for customers who need an ultraportable computer. The 12-inch MacBook featured a fanless design, an Intel processor, and was the first Mac to feature the butterfly keyboard. This computer was considerably popular for its thin and light design. Apple updated the MacBook in 2016 and 2017, until it was superseded in 2019 by the launch of the redesigned MacBook Air with Retina display.
A report from last year suggested that an updated 12-inch MacBook would be one of the first Mac laptops announced with an Apple silicone chip. That didn’t come true, and Apple updated its 13-inch MacBook Air and MacBook Pro.
