In great news for the entire World of Warships gaming community, Wargaming, developer and publisher of the free-to-play multiplayer naval combat game World of Warships, is returning to sea with a new line of VX-tier Asian cruisers in this update. .
Something that we find quite remarkable is that, in addition, Super Ships are now available for Random Battles, Asymmetric Battles are making a big comeback, and the Arsenal has been equipped with some amazing new additions.
Asian cruises: part one
In the first event of the year, players can take command of six Asian cruisers for the first time, vessels known for their small caliber but fast-firing guns and powerful deep-sea torpedoes.
These include Tier V ROC Chungking; and the Tier VI Malaysian Rahmat; all the way to Tier X Jinan in the PRC. Every week 28 new combat missions will be available in four batches, loaded with rewards upon completion, including access to the Tier V Chungking and Tier VII Chumphon, as well as as Asian Tokens.
This new seasonal resource can be redeemed for a number of sequential camos, patches, and bundles such as the Tier VI Rahmat and Tier VIII Harbin, as well as the Tier IX Sejong and its special skins. Dragon Harbor has also been updated in honor of the event.
Following the theme of Asian cruisers, players will also be able to celebrate the Lunar New Year by participating in combat missions to earn a themed flag, special containers, and other items.
