By now, surely the vast majority of people will know the phenomenon Wordle, the curious challenge that proposes us to find out a word of five letters through trial and error (the good mechanics), and if it doesn’t ring a bell, it’s that you’ve been hiding in a cave during the beginning of 2022. In fact, the success of the program has led to several versions being made in different languages and for The New York Times to buy the game, which is said soon. Well, it seems that the phenomenon is far from over.
A Minecraft player has been able to recreate, thanks to the Redstone element (one of the most difficult to get within the game itself), Wordle in its own world of the Mojang Studios game so that the rest of the players can also enjoy it. The user in question is, according to his Reddit profile, mattbatwings2 and has shared his creation via Reddit. The mentioned creation is, basically, a new map on which you have built a board to recreate Wordle, and it works perfectly. To be able to play Wordle in Minecraft you just have to know that, the player near the keyboard uses it to type letters, and each completed word causes an indicator to light up above to show which letters are correct and which are not.
The person responsible for adding Worlde to Minecraft says he has created “a 2D array where the secret word is on one axis and the word to guess is on the other axis. When any of the diagonal points of the matrix are the same letter, then those are the green squares because the indices match. And when any of the other points in the array are the same letter, those are the yellow squares, because the indices don’t match.”
Having said all this, if you have any doubts, always you can access this link and see first hand how Wordle works in Minecraft. Without a doubt, this is one more sample of the possibilities that Minecraft offers players to be able to exploit all their creativity in more than curious ways.
