Windows 11 will arrive at the end of this year and its installation in a good part of the equipment on the market is causing a headache. Now we know that unsupported devices that install Windows 11 will not have updates and along with this handicap, another for those that are compatible, in which Windows Update will notify you with a notice.
Windows Update is the traditional method of receiving updates automatically. A section within the “Settings” menu that serves to update our PC and now will notify if our team is ready to make the leap to Windows 11.

When updating our PC and for get out of doubts about compatibility, we can use the official PC Health Check tool or an interesting third-party alternative such as WhyNotWin11. Both one and the other serve to determine whether or not our equipment is compatible. Additionally, Microsoft has the ability to identify devices with hardware or software compatibility issues.
To all these options, Microsoft added a new feature to the Windows 10 Insider Program Preview Channel. The Windows Update tool now displays a warning that the computer is ready to upgrade to Windows 11. The following text appears next to the warning:
“Good news: your PC meets the minimum system requirements for Windows 11. The specific time it will be offered may vary as we prepare it for you.”
“Note: Some functions of Windows 10 are not available in Windows 11. Some applications and functions may require more requirements.”
For now, this notice is only available to members of the Windows 10 Preview Channel in the Insider Program. Remember that you can test the improvements that come to the different channels of the Insider Program for Windows 10 by following the tutorial we did in its day, a method that also serves to test Windows 11.
