One of the most criticized aspects of Windows 11 has been the customization of the operating system. However, Microsoft seems to have taken note of this and is working to give the user more options. One of these novelties would be the possibility of «pasting» stickers on our desktop background.
Stickers come to Windows 11
Not much is known about this feature, which has appeared experimentally in recent builds on the Windows Insider Dev channel. According albacore, is among the customization options and, basically, it would allow you to anchor emoticons or GIFs on the desktop background.
This feature would come to Windows 11 with a small sticker editor that will allow you to adjust the size and location of these. The stickers would remain fixed on the screen, regardless of the chosen desktop background.
At the moment, this novelty is not compatible with the use of image presentations for the background or multiple monitors… Which indicates the early stage of development in which this feature is.
Although it may seem somewhat unnecessary, let’s remember that Microsoft is betting heavily on the educational segment with Windows 11 SE and a wide range of devices. Everything seems to indicate that this feature is focused on that market, allowing the little ones to personalize their device, in the same way that they would do it with their desk.
What’s more, system administrators have the ability to enable or disable this feature via a directive called EducationAllowStickers.
