You can win a PS5 along with a copy of The Last of Us Part I, apart from other prizes
With just a few weeks left until the highly anticipated release of The Last of Us Part I, PlayStation is already revving up to welcome Ellie and Joel back through a cover contest through social networks with the participation of the same Gustavo Santaolalla, the award-winning composer of The Last of Us series and winner of two Oscars. You can win both the game itself, a Pulse 3D headset or even a PS5.
This contest will be available until next August 29 at 11:59 p.m. and participating will be as simple as recording your cover of The Last of Us theme and share it on video via Instagram or Twitter with the hashtag #CoverTLOU and mention the PlayStation Spain account (@playstationes). It is not limited to just looking for versions of the theme of The Last of Us with a guitar, as Ellie herself does in the game, these versions can be interpreted with any type of instrument, be it strings, wind or percussion.
“I am very grateful for the messages that you have sent me since 2013. The way in which fans of The Last of Us They have connected with my music, I have not perceived it with other fans”, assured Gustavo Santaolalla during the announcement of this contest. “I celebrate this opportunity that presents itself so that they can send their versions of the theme The Last of Us. I want to see what instruments they use, what they come up with and how they work the melody. I look forward to seeing his creations.”
Participants in this cover contest of The Last of Us Part I will be able to aspire to three awards:
- First Place: PlayStation® 5 + The Last of Us Part I Digital Standard Edition
- Second Place: Pulse 3D Headset + The Last of Us Part I Digital Standard Edition
- Third Place: The Last of Us Part I Digital Standard Edition
To enjoy The Last of Us we will have to wait a little longer, since the new Naughty Dog will hit stores next september 2 for PS5. Later it will also be available on PC, but there is no specific release date on compatible yet.
