He Department for Social Prosperity the delivery of an extraordinary subsidy to the beneficiaries of social programs such as Solidarity incomeFamilies in Action, Youth in Action, Colombia Mayor, among others, as part of a program called Shock Plan against Hunger. Payments were scheduled, in a staggered and differential manner, until mid-January 2023. All the information here, in this Depor note.
According to a statement, the Shock Plan against Hunger reached nearly two million homes. The project was designed by the National Government and seeks to continue fighting the economic problems left by the coronavirus pandemic. The actions accompany the extraordinary monetary transfer of 500,000 pesos, which is paid throughout the country and according to the exposed schedule.
The payment of the extraordinary subsidy includes the beneficiaries of social programs such as Solidarity Income, Youth in Action and Families in Action. Of course, people must meet a series of requirements that we will detail in the following paragraphs. Keep reading and find out if you are a beneficiary of the subsidy.
What were the requirements to access Zero Hunger?
To be a beneficiary you must meet the following requirements:
- Belong to Group A of Sisbén IV and not receive any help from the state.
- Belong to Group A within Solidarity Income.
- Female head of Familias en Acción with children under 6 years of age.
- Female leadership within Jóvenes en Acción with children under 6 years of age.
Shock Plan against Hunger: payment dates
- Since December 7: Families that did not receive State subsidies (group A)
- As of December 7: Beneficiaries of Solidarity Income who are from group A of Sisbén IV without a bank account (who do not have a bank account or registered financial product)
- As of December 15: Beneficiaries of Solidarity Income who are banked from group A of Sisbén IV.
- From December 21: Participants of the Jóvenes en Acción program who completed cycle 6 in 2022.
- As of December 26: Households participating in the Familias en Acción program (Parents with children under 6 years of age will receive the transfer).
How do I know if I am a beneficiary of the subsidy?
Through the Solidarity Income program you can be part of the subsidies that the Colombian government will deliver. If you want to know if you will receive the bonus, you must register on the web portal of said social program. Here are the steps to follow:
- Enter solidary income.prosperidadsocial.gov.co
- Click the SIGN UP button located at the top right of the page.
- In the Digital Citizen Authentication service, log in with your ID number if you are already registered or go to REGISTER HERE.
- In the TYPE OF ACCESS, select REGISTRATION WITH IDENTITY DOCUMENT and continue with the process.
- Once you are registered, enter the program page again and log in (steps 1, 2 and 3).
- Upon entering the system, a window will appear with the information of the registered user. Check the data and close the window.
- Click on the CHECK TURNS AND BENEFICIARIES button. Finally, a window will appear with the information related to your household (if you are a beneficiary, household status, etc.).
Shock Plan against Hunger: group payment
Payments by groups, according to the programs.
- Group 1: new families from group A of Sisbén IV who did not receive aid from the State and beneficiaries of Solidarity Income from group A Sisbén IV, who are not banked. The banked, since December 15.
- Group 2: There are 6,500 Jóvenes en Acción participants who have children under 6 years of age identified through Sisbén IV and who fulfilled commitments in cycle 6 of 2022, who will receive $500,000 as of December 21.
Households belonging to Solidarity Income, which are not in group A of Sisbén IV and, therefore, are not in extreme poverty, will receive a differentiated payment according to the number of household members and the Sisbén group to which they belong.
