With a positive reception from fans and specialized critics, the Hollywood adaptation of Eiichirō Oda’s legendary manga has exceeded expectations and, with it, questions about the future potential of the franchise begin: will there be more seasons ofhe live-action of one piece?
In interview with VarietyPeter Friedlander, Netflix’s head of scripted series for the United States and Canada, referred to the possibility of continue with the adventures of the flesh and blood Straw Hats. Although Friedlander cannot make any premature promises, the giant of streaming He has all his faith in this production and they are ready to give the green light to a second season.
“I really hope that [One Piece] be a successful show that can continue, because I think that Oda-san has created a compendium of stories, adventures and characters that we would love to see realized through the live action of one piece”, express.
