On Wednesday, July 19, it is planned to carry out the Third Taking of Lima, which, as a result of what happened in previous demonstrations, raises concerns about the possibility that it is not a peaceful march. According to the announcement, thousands of Peruvians from different regions of the country will travel to the capital to demonstrate against the Government of Dina Boluarte. Due to this situation, the authorities made the decision to close some streets in the center of the capital, to which the question arose: what will happen to school classes?

Yes, since according to the Minister of Education, Magnet Márquez, there is nothing that makes us think that the safety of our children is at risk. Furthermore, she added that: “I vote because these mobilizations are completely peaceful, the right to protest is guaranteed, as long as it is peaceful. It is assumed that no type of work should be interrupted (…). We are in permanent communication with the Minister of the Interior because we are going to privilege the integrity of the students”.

The main mobilization in the country that will take place this Wednesday, July 19, is motivated by the departure of Dina Boluarte. As we previously mentioned, her government has almost 80% disapproval, while another important percentage seeks to close Congress.
Along these same lines, it is worth remembering that the Taking of Lima is due to the fact that both Dina Boluarte and Congress refused to leave their posts, added to the fact that they did not call for new elections. To a lesser extent, there will be protests against the change in the Constitution, since the one imposed by Alberto Fujimori in 1993 is currently in force.
