SEGA will avoid delaying Sonic Frontiers despite the fear of many players.
Regarding the reaction to the gameplay of the players, the director admits that “not really that surprising“, well “we realize that everyone is reacting to the videos they watched, and because they don’t understand what this new game is, they compare it to other games they already know“. However, it is reiterated that Sonic Frontieres features a new gameplay that hasn’t been seen before“so we really hope that between here and launch we can really explain what is open zone game”.
In fact, Sonic Frontiers will be present at the Tokyo Game Show and Gamescom this year with a demothough “the game is in development and we’ve actually been doing a lot of testing with our target audience, that demographic of people who would play a Sonic game and enjoy it”, he explains, specifying that many players scored it a 9 or 10.
Sonic Frontiers will avoid being delayed to 2023
Takashi Iizuka has confessed that “we feel like we’re getting to the point where this game is over, and people will like it, and we hope that the game reaches the hands of our fans as soon as possible”, he added. In this way, and taking into account that they value more the opinions of those who have proven that they only comment on published videos, they will try to release Sonic Frontiers this year on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC.
