Among the companies focused on the health field, the case of MAC Hospitals stands out. To date, it is the third chain in number of units nationwide. But his plan is to continue growth throughout the country. That is why it has now unveiled its new healthcare and business model called MediMAC. Its main characteristic is that it seeks to bring quality health services at fair prices to a greater number of Mexicans.
What does it consist of?
This new model aims to bring attention to cities where the medical infrastructure is not enough. The new units will have state-of-the-art technology and modern facilities to serve patients in small cities and thus prevent them from traveling long distances to receive medical care.
This year it has been confirmed that units will be opened in the cities of Mérida, Guanajuato, Boca del Rio, Tlalnepantla and Coapa. While the idea is to inaugurate another 12 during 2022. MediMAC plans to operate in partnership with local doctors who will be able to practice their practice safely and who will have all the necessary technical, material and human equipment.
Offer medical care in small towns
Miguel Khoury, General Director of MAC Hospitals, pointed out that this model was born with the objective of reaching more cities and being able to contribute to the health of more Mexicans and thanks to the support of more than 1,200,000 patients treated.
“Throughout the 13 years of history, we have improved the spaces in our units, we always seek to offer high-quality hospitals with the highest technology and at fair prices. We are convinced that this new model will bring many benefits to the cities where we have a presence and their inhabitants ”.
He added that all partner doctors will be nationally credentialed to hospitalize or operate in any MediMAC and in any of the MAC Hospitals in the country. They will also have access to the resources that hospitals offer to carry out their work, as well as participate in the teaching and research panels of the Group.
This year, the firm carried out its second issuance of stock certificates for 1.5 billion pesos to continue with its growth plan and consolidate itself as the second chain in number of units nationwide.
Especially at these times is when more spaces for patient care are required. It is not only because of Covid-19 but because of the other diseases and conditions that exist and which, in some cases, have been relegated.
