Today all the games that will reach Xbox GamePass in the first half of July, with some interesting surprises. The return of the first Yakuza is one of the big news, but in this article we want to focus on a title that could go unnoticed. So things, today we talk about why you should play road 96, a video game developed by the French studio DigixArt and that generated quite an impact last year on the indie scene. Now it’s coming to Game Pass this week and we think you’ll be interested in checking it out.
Road 96’s proposal is as simple as it is attractive: we are in a politically chaotic country, with young people without opportunities to prosper and looking for a better luck beyond the borders of its territory. The problem? That the security at the exit border is extreme and the harshness of the police is so brutal that their pulse does not even tremble when it comes to murder minors. In this context, Road 96 proposes us to embody different young people, each starting their own journey towards the border in search of a better future. The decisions we make on the road will allow us to escape or die before we even reach the border.
Road 96 Analysis
Each trip is unique and different from the previous one and all of them are full of dangers. The procedural and random component gives a distinctive touch to Road 96which has great stories and some very amazing playable sections. It should also be noted that it is not a very long game, so in about four or five hours you can finish it. The trips that we are able to make during the course of the game and its results will be fundamental when it comes to getting us to a more or less satisfactory ending, but without a doubt Road 96 has a high replayability if you want to see all possible scenarios. Starting July 7, the game will be available on Xbox Game Pass and we recommend that you keep an eye on it.
