Fans of DC comics have a great affection for the superheroes and villains that appear in their stories, and one of the female characters that has played a different role on countless occasions is Harley Quinn, this was created by the hand of Paul Dini and Bruce Timm for “Batman: The Animated Series.”
Something that seems quite curious to us is that, since then, he has remained one of the public’s favorite characters. Although, initially, this she was nothing more than a henchman of the Joker, her changing attitude, her combat skills with which she has defeated other villains and her personality have allowed her to create herself. a lonely path of his own.
Although, as we mentioned, the most common version of Harley is present struggling between a heroine and an anti-heroine role, there are other much more chaotic ones in the direction of a villain path, as we can see in Suicide Squad comic #1: Hola. In this comic we have been able to observe how Harley loses her mind and kills a man because she simply told him no.
This tells us a lot about how complex this girl’s mind is. However, being a non-canon installment, it is possible to exaggerate all kinds of moments and create situations that give us a better perspective of the character’s real identity without damaging the main version of her in the DC universe.
Ever since Harley left the Joker, she’s had all sorts of adventures while having complex relationships with other villains like Catwoman and Posion Ivy, to name a few. Therefore, in the main versions of her character we have seen her grow, develop and explore her mind to discover her true identity. While, in non-canonical series like this one that belongs to DC’s black label, we can appreciate a more raw and violent side of it.
