This occurred due to the sale of debts held by Salomón Lerner, Antonio Armejo and Fernando Farah. With these shares, Hiraoka will join the majority of the Blue and White Fund. Of course, the representative before the Board of Creditors of the majority percentage will be the businessman Irzio Pinasco, who would take the reins of the Fund with 53%, above the 47% represented by Diego Gonzales Posada (shared with César Torres).
Who is Irzio Pinasco?
Although Carlos Hiraoka announced, through his Linkedin, the purchase of Fund shares, the current manager of the company GW Yichang & CIA will only be a temporary spokesperson for the new group of creditors. In interview with sportSalomón Lerner specified that the one who is leading this group of investors is the businessman Irzio Pinasco, who played an important role in the organization of the Copa América that took place in Peru in 2004, the only edition that took place in our country. and will have the figure that until now fell to Diego Gonzales Posada, as head of the Blue and White Fund.
Irzio Pinasco Menchelli would be the representative of the new majority group of creditors of the Blanquiazul Fund (they have 53% of the shares, the ones they bought from Salomón Lerner, Antonio Armejo and Fernando Farah), so he will have -practically- the last word in future decisions of the blue and white box.
The new investors, led by Pinasco, will have to assume the role of leadership and management of the Blue and White Fund as the new majority owners. A new Board of Creditors must be convened for the ‘assumption’ of the new faces of the well-known private investment fund, which has been in La Victoria since 2019.
Although Irzio Pinasco, 60, has not been in the sporting spotlight in recent years (except for his participation in the organization of the 2004 Copa América), at the administrative level he has great experience and support. Precisely, the side in which Alianza Lima must continue to strengthen to attract more sponsors and brands, investors who want to give their financial support to the club for its growth and strengthening.
With more than 30 years of experience leading companies from various economic sectors, Irzio Pinasco served as Executive Director of Acurio Restaurantes, between 2006 and 2019. Since 2008, he has belonged to SIGMA SAFI, a leading fund management company, as director and promoter. In addition, he is the current independent director of BCP since 2018 and graduated in Economics and International Relations from Brown University and has an MBA degree from Columbia University.
