Music represents that set of melodies and lyrics that tell stories, that express happiness, love, sadness, and much more, making you relive your most precious moments. We are talking, without a doubt, about one of the best pleasures there is, and one of everyone’s favorite hobbies.
Different have been the ways in which we can enjoy our favorite artists. Over time, the instruments through which people transmit their emotions have been innovated, even being considered therapeutic.
If we inquire, there are musical sessions for unborn babies, music to relax, to increase concentration, there is specialized music for gyms, for work and even for pets.
Where do Spotify and all its music come from?
From radio, cassette tapes, CDs, to computer music downloaders, the ease of access to music has been changing as technology advances. Today, any device gives you the opportunity to access your favorite music reproductions and in a very simple way.
And so Spotify was born. Launched in October 2008 for Europe, this Swedish platform is presented as an option to access music through a computer or smartphone. Despite having other alternative applications for listening to music, Spotify has positioned itself as one of the best and most commercial.
With availability for a large number of operating systems, the platform presents a free version, in which you can listen to the music of your favorite artists online, with advertising between tracks and with some limitations in the reproduction of content.
The Premium version, on the other hand, allows you to download the music of your choice, being able to listen to it as many times as you want, as many times as you want, with total freedom to repeat it as many times as you want, without having to be connected to a data network or Wi-Fi and no advertising between tracks.
Does it take up space on my computer or in a cloud?
There are many advances and developments that this platform has given since its launch. However, it could be said that some of its main achievements are:
- End, somehow, that saturation of downloads that a person could have on their computer or smartphone.
- Helps reduce the use of programs that contribute to piracy.
- Better quality in audios.
- Files without viruses.
Therefore, it stands out, as its main characteristic, a service with excellent audio quality and insurance for its users. In addition to contributing to the legal exposure of the different artists that are part of this community.
However, the fact that you do not have a download disaster of dubious origin within your computer does not mean that the downloads you make, in case of being a Premium client, do not occupy any space in it.
More than one of its users will have been surprised to see the amount of space that the application occupies within their computer, thinking that the platform would use some kind of cloud for each client… it is not unreasonable, but it is not correct either.
