The Mexican singer Ángela Aguilar will be in charge of closing with a flourish the Great Day of the Dead Parade this weekend. Here we tell you the details.
The capital authorities recently announced that Angela Aguilar will perform the traditional songs of “La Malagueña” and “La Llorona” to close this event. This was announced by the head of government, Claudia Sheinbaum, through her Twitter account.
Where to see Ángela Aguilar in the Day of the Dead Parade?
Ángela Aguilar’s presentation will be on October 29 at the CDMX Zócalo. That will end the Great Day of the Dead Parade.
It is important to note that the parade will last approximately three and a half hours. Thus Angela Aguilar’s show is expected to take place around 8:30 p.m..

On October 29, the Great Day of the Dead Parade in the capital of the country. It will depart from the Puerta de los Leones, on Paseo de la Reforma and Calle de Lieja; to Plaza de la Constitución.
According to the capital authorities, the parade will be made up of:
- 10 autonomous floats.
- 29 “super props” (pushable cars) inspired by Qutzalcóatl, the Mictlán and the Catrinas of José Guadalupe Posada.
- Four monumental globes
- 1,200 elements, including dancers, musicians and walkers.
It is estimated that the entrance of the vehicles will be at night, so they will be illuminated. There will also be a light show with pyrotechnics and drones. Later it will end with the stellar presentation of Ángela Aguilar.
It should be noted that the parade is classified as international because the presence of national and foreign tourists is expected.
