WhatsApp It is currently the most popular instant messaging app on the entire planet, but unfortunately it is neither the safest nor the most up-to-date.
To be frank, there are a considerable number of applications in the same field that have more robust functions and a more efficient system.
WhatsApp as an informal communication tool with friends and family is very comfortable, but for work and production it has wide areas of opportunity.
Where Telegram and Signal are constituted as the best platform, much more functional and with more complete functions. The biggest evidence of this is that WhatsApp itself has emulated most of its features, with a considerable time gap between each major change.
For this reason, other third-party applications have emerged that, in theory, strengthen the WhatsApp account itself without the need to migrate with Telegram or other services, such as WhatsApp Plus.
But unfortunately, making this last decision can put the future of our account at risk.
Meta does not want you to use WhatsApp Plus and these other third party apps
Some time has passed, but few seem to be aware that WhatsApp has updated its terms and conditions of use.
And with this change came a drastic, almost severe, change in its stance on the use of third-party apps developed with the intention of “complementing” the original app.
For years these alternatives have existed and have been used interchangeably by users. But now there is a list of applications that, if used, any user will automatically run the risk of losing their WhatsApp account:
- whatsapp plus
- gb whatsapp
- fouad whatsapp
- OBWhatsApp
- Any other WhatsApp mode.
Just go to the FAQ section of WhatsApp endorsed by Meta to run into the damning paragraph where it is officially confirmed that these APKs are not safe and can put our account at risk, since it could be suspended or canceled:
“Unsupported apps such as WhatsApp Plus, GB WhatsApp, or those that claim to be able to transfer your WhatsApp chats from one phone to another are altered versions of the WhatsApp app.
These unofficial apps are developed by third parties and violate our Terms of Service. WhatsApp does not endorse the use of these third-party applications because it is not possible to validate their security practices.”
Therefore, the obvious and absolute recommendation is not to use any of the apps on the list. This will keep our information and the integrity of our account safe.
