WhatsApp continues to be the most used messaging service on the entire planet. That does not mean that the developers are satisfied with its performance. Those who work with the Meta app constantly seek to add or modify functions so that users find an interface that is increasingly more friendly.
The most recent, according to WA Beta Info, is the search for messages by date sent. For now, it is only available to users who previously joined the official WhatsApp Web beta program. But they are testing to incorporate it into all versions of the app, in any of the available operating systems.
Computer Today lists the most recent updates to the service, which we share below for you to try, in case you haven’t noticed them yet.
- Pin messages: It is something that was already on Telegram, but now we have it on WhatsApp. The app allows you to leave a message at the top of a chat, which serves as a reminder of an appointment or the premiere of a series. A pinned message has a maximum of 30 days
- Change the username: With the intention that each user has their own identification, WhatsApp now allows you to change the username. It can be done by going to “Settings” and editing the “WhatsApp username” section.
- WhatsApp channels: It was one of the bombs of this last quarter. Actors, actresses, singers, media and whatever personality you can think of, now have a WhatsApp channel that you can access without problems.
- Passkeys: This new functionality will allow Android users to use facial recognition, fingerprint, PIN or pattern to access their accounts, thus eliminating the need to receive SMS codes for activation.
