WhatsApp is the messaging app with the most users, with two billion accounts in the world.
Meta’s platform already delivers one hundred billion messages a day.
There are only 25 countries in the world where WhatsApp is not the most used messaging app.
This Wednesday the WhatsApp instant messaging platform is reporting failures in its services worldwide.
When we talk about communication on social networks, or especially on instant messaging platforms, we cannot fail to mention that WhatsApp is one of the most popular and according to data from Meta, the parent company of the instant messaging platform, registers more than two million users worldwide.
In Mexico alone, it is the digital application most used by Internet users, with 78 million users, according to figures from the MX Internet Association.
New fall of WhatsApp worldwide
Various users of the platform are reporting on social networks such as Twitter, the fall of WhatsApp services. It was revealed that the fall was registered both in its version for mobile devices and on its website.
Likewise, according to reports, the failures in the service manifested themselves in a general way, leaving numerous users without the possibility of sending or receiving messages.
As well, some users reported that they could not access their chats, while others mentioned difficulties in sending multimedia files such as photos and videos, but mainly messages.
Subsequently, as on other occasions, the DownDetector site reported a spike in bug reports. In the graphs of the site you can see that the reports began to arrive from 2:00 p.m.
Likewise, the reports began to increase after 2:30 p.m. in the afternoon.
So far, WhatsApp services are still down and the Meta platform has not provided any information.
