The WhatsApp messaging application was paralyzed this Tuesday in much of the world.
There are reports on all social networks, such as Twitter, of users who suffer from WhatsApp crashes because they have problems sending and receiving texts, images, videos and audios.
The difficulties are noticed in users from Asia, Europe and Latin America.
At around 0750 GMT, server outage notification website downdetector.com identified that more than 100,000 users had reported problems with WhatsApp in the UK, as well as thousands in Singapore, Madrid, Mexico, New York and South Africa.
Most of the incidents reported by Internet users are due to problems sending messages, app malfunctions, disconnection with the server and difficulties with WhatsApp Web crashing.
WhatsApp statement for the fall
Whatsapp’s parent company, Meta (also owner of Facebook and Instagram), announced that it was working to restore the service “as soon as possible”.
