Apparently, the next Samsung phones will be unveiled in the second half of January next year, which is why we have seen a fair amount of leaks ranging from the spec list to videos using the test units that Samsung distributes for testing.
Among the data that have been leaked are the possible prices that the 3 models will have in Europe, and which have been published by Roland Quandt through the German medium, WinFuture.
Samsung Galaxy S21: 849 Euro
Samsung Galaxy S21+: 1049 Euro
Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra: 1349 EuroAll 5G, all 128GB, 50 Euro gets you double GB.
Ultra 512GB goes up to 1529 Euro for 512GB model.https://t.co/ZQEfROXaSE— Roland Quandt (@rquandt) December 22, 2020
Year after year WinFuture has accurately filtered prices and specifications of the next market launches, so although we cannot take for granted that the official prices of the Galaxy S21 will be as announced, it is very likely that they will.
According to the source, the price of the Galaxy S21 in its base version of 128 GB of internal storage will start at 849 euros, while the prices of the S21 + and S21 Ultra will be 1,049 euros and 1,349 euros respectively.
What would the price of telephones be in Mexico?
UnoCero has looked to Samsung Mexico to find out if there is official information about the prices that the new equipment of the firm would have in our country, but the brand has mentioned that at the moment there are no details that they can share with us.
Taking as a reference the prices in euros published by Roland Quandt, and viewing the current exchange rate to the Mexican currency, the costs of the telephones would be 20,717 pesos for the S21, 25,597 pesos for the S21 + and 32,918 pesos for the S21 Ultra.
Another detail that we must consider is that normally the price in dollars and euros is similar, and that is the reason why it is mentioned that the S21 series will be cheaper compared to the S20 series, which was launched in February of this year. for 999, 1,199 and 1,399 dollars respectively.
Likewise, in Mexico, the price of telephones is usually more expensive than in dollars because not only is it enough to convert to the local currency, but taxes and other fees must be added that make the cost always different depending on the country, for what the official prices in Mexico will be much closer to the conversion in euros than in dollars.
On the other hand, if the price in dollars is cheaper than that announced for the S20 at the beginning of the year, then in Mexico there is the possibility that the price will not increase compared to the official prices in our market, so our estimate would be as follows:
- Galaxy S21: 18,999 MXN
- Galaxy S21 +: 23,999 MXN
- Galaxy S21 Ultra: 28,999 MXN
We emphasize that these are not the official prices for Mexico, which would be revealed until the day of the presentation as it happens year after year.
