Trying to keep them from suffering from not being able to do something can have serious consequences for them.
If we do not let children make mistakes and overprotect them so that they avoid having a bad experience or are frustrated, they will not be able to cope in life and will become dependent people. They will also have a poor and even bad self-concept since they will think that making mistakes is a bad thing because it “hurts”.
We should not rob them of the opportunity to learn from mistakes, to admit that they are wrong, and to give them a chance (and satisfaction) to fix problems.
We must teach our children to do things in the best possible way and to be responsible for their actions, in this way they will have a healthy vision of mistakes and they will realize how useful they are, they will thank you all their lives and you will feel more comfortable with yourself. They must know that mistakes are learned.
