Despite the fact that it was one of the returns that excited fans, Charlie Cox recounts the ‘sad’ experience when he went to see Spider-Man: No Way Home
Not all the actors who participated in Spider-Man: No Way Home enjoyed the functions of the tape they attended, in particular the case of Charlie Cox, who did not hide his disappointment when the return of Matt Murdock did not move the audience.

In an interview with the Radio Times, Charlie Cox recounted the experience he had going to a regular Spider-Man: No Way Home screening, where he hoped fans would be thrilled with the appearance of Matt Murdock.
“It’s funny, I got so many texts and calls about that moment at the movies… My nephew sent me a recording of everyone cheering. So I snuck into a movie theater near where I live and literally stood in the aisle…and sadly my experience was that it was all silent!”.
Cox, who took the event with the best possible humor, mentioned that he was even preparing a video with that reaction, which he no longer brought to light due to the poor response in said function.
“I was so disappointed… My wife was with me and she was recording me, because it would be fun to have that moment where everyone was cheering, and then… awkward silence”.
Daredevil will return…
In the same interview, Charlie Cox confirmed that work is already being done on the return of Daredevil, but he did not anticipate when the man without fear will be seen again in the Marvel Studios tapes or series.
“I know something… I don’t know much, but I know there will be something more.”
The actor does not deny his excitement at playing Daredevil again, something he hopes will be repeated in future MCU projects.
“I feel so lucky to have been cast in that role and it’s the gift that keeps on giving… I loved every minute of doing the show. And so being asked to come back and participate in any capacity is absolutely exciting for me.”.
