Maandi House Studios which belongs to wesley snipes has joined forces with Gifted Rebels and PCB Entertainment to launch the comic Exiled. This new story is starring the detective Niles “Roach” Washington, who chases a serial killer after a deadly gas attack. This villain uses tools that are over 5,000 years old and rips out the spines of his victims.
The protagonist is an outcast and has to deal with enemies from all sides as he searches for the killer, uncovering one of the world’s darkest mysteries along the way. This comic is adapting an original story that wesley snipes created together with Adam Lawson from Gifted Rebels.
The project intends to move forward thanks to collective financing on the platform kickstarter. The fundraiser will kick off on June 21 with various rewards for backers, including an exclusive figure of Detective Washington.
The actor wesley snipes He was very enthusiastic about the project.
“Comics allow you to explore big worlds. Ever since Blade, I’ve been drawn to origin stories and developing characters. Now, I can build “Roach” as a character from scratch and I like that.”
The president of PCB Entertainment, Keith Arem, previously worked with the actor on a video game adaptation of the movie Demolition Man. He also worked with Adam Lawson on the graphic novel Dead Speed. He said that she was looking forward to working with both of them again.
“I am delighted to be working with Wesley Snipes again. He’s a fantastic creative partner and Adam and I love collaborating with him. The Exiled is a dark reflection of what is happening in the world and an opportunity for us to explore new conspiracies and stories.”
