Here and now. The fashion consumer requests more and more speed and efficiency in the delivery of their orders on-line and firms are looking for and capturing the strategy that best satisfies these desires. In this line, C&A has made public that it has partnered with Glovo, one of the companies of fast delivery par excellence, so that part of its customers in Spain and Portugal can receive at home the garments they have just bought through digital channels in record time: 30 minutes.
For the moment, in Spain we can enjoy this new service in nine cities. Specifically, Mataró, Madrid, Malaga, Valencia, Palma de Mallorca, Barcelona, Leganés, Zaragoza and Seville. Although we imagine that if the strategy is successful, the agreement with Glovo will travel to other parts of Spain later, whenever possible.
With this new one, C&A takes a giant step to maximize its omnichannel strategy and adapt to the demands of the most demanding consumer. What’s more, boosts sales through digital channels, since it puts an end to the wait of several days to receive the order at our door.
Are we facing the first long-term agreement between a large firm on the scene? fast fashion and a company of delivery ultrafast within our borders? Time will answer this question.
