Although the entire community has Starfield in its sights as the next great RPG from Bethesda, we all know that the next stop in the station will be The Elder Scrolls VI. The veteran saga was barely seen in the form of a teaser a few years ago and we are quite a long way from having the new installment on our screens.
Without a single gram of gameplay so far, in the company of Todd Howard they don’t waste time and already think even further. Through statements on IGN, Howard has confirmed that Fallout 5 will be the future game that Bethesda covers after the launch of The Elder Scrolls VI.
“Yeah, The Elder Scrolls VI is in pre-production and, you know, we’re going to do Fallout 5 next, so our schedule is pretty full for a while. We also have other projects that we look at from time to time.”
Therefore, the line of work starts at Starfield, go ahead with the fantasy game and it will end the radioactive apocalypse. Of course, we have no date for any of the games, beyond that the galactic adventure will presumably arrive in early 2023.
The Elder Scrolls VI it is still in an early stage of development, despite the fact that four years have passed since its announcement. On the other hand, Fallout 4 arrived in 2015 and the saga has even had a multiplayer aspect thanks to Fallout 76.
