Before the end of 2022, the RAE chose the word of the year. To determine it, the Academy was based on the uses and sociocultural anchors that best reflect the annual cycle that ends, and although words such as “inflation”, “Ukrainian” and “cryptocurrency” resonated among the candidates, in the end, the champion was nothing more and nothing less than the expression “artificial intelligence”.
It is not a new concept, but it is one that since its creation and to date sounds strong, in addition to the fact that year after year it is renewed with surprising advances, permeating all labor sectors, branches of study, and social classes. In a nutshell, Artificial intelligence went from being a technology reserved for specialists to accompanying citizens in their daily lives through virtual assistants.
And is it that who does not appreciate the instructions of that harmonious and almost poetic voice, coming from the GPS, which tells us where to go to reach our destination? Having an omnipresent assistant who knows almost everything is an invaluable help for the population, and with them artificial intelligence is advancing by leaps and bounds after the great challenge of the 21st century: achieving Artificial General Intelligence (AGI). that is, one that is capable of learning intellectual tasks as humans do.
What is GPT-3 artificial intelligence?
As an example of this, we have the Generative Pre-trained Transformer 3 (GPT-3) language model, an autoregressive system that uses deep learning to produce texts that simulate human writing. It was only announced to the world in June 2020, when the Californian company OpenAI released the upgrade from GPT-2 to GPT-3. The new technology aroused immense expectations because it is a language model based on artificial intelligence and deep learning with cognitive capabilities, being considered, in fact, as the most important and useful advance in artificial intelligence in recent years.
To use GPT-3, the user only has to start writing a paragraph, and the system itself takes care of completing the rest of the text in a coherent way. It is even possible to generate complete conversations, since the system is capable of providing answers based on the context of the previous questions and answers. Notably, the tool generates text using algorithms that were previously trained, and have already received around 570 GB of text information collected by crawling the Internet.
The scope of GPT-3 is immense, but to mention just a few, I would underline that This technology is capable of generating text for websites, ads on social networks, scripts, etc. The user will only have to enter some guidelines relative to his needs and with it GPT-3 will create a precise text. And it doesn’t end there with GPT-3 it is also possible to compose emails, create landing pages (solely describing them) or design intelligent, precise chatbots with correct answers.
The best books for entrepreneurs according to AI
But in case you weren’t surprised enough, wait until you read this: While it started out as a text generator, since a few months GPT-3 is also able to speak. To achieve such a tremendous discovery, OpenAI created ChatGPT, a new service on its website that allows natural conversations in several languages with the language model. New technology is capable of explaining a wide variety of concepts in rich detail, and it can also do so with specific expressions and styles — for example, imitating the speech of a person who lived several centuries ago or emulating the language expressions of a small child—, in addition to specific formats.
Now, for the preparation of this article, we asked the artificial intelligence GPT-3 to recommend the best books for entrepreneurs and this is what it told us.
