The AMG EQS will be a true standard recognizable by the grille design. The usual vertical bars of the Pan-American style are reproduced in the closed panel that occupies the front grille, while the bumper will present the large air intakes of the combustion models, linked to form a single piece and enhancing their presence with gloss black painted trim.
Multi-spoke alloy wheels, carbo-ceramic brakes and the thin spoiler positioned on the edge of the boot lid They will also be specific details, as well as the lower part of the rear bumper that will be occupied by a large diffuser with its relevant aerodynamic channels. A configuration that will not be as radical as in the combustion models, since the aerodynamics and keeping the weight adjusted are the maximum.
The German firm registered three trade names last spring, “EQS 43”, “EQS 53” and “EQS 63”, although they are expected to be the last two those that hit the market from next December. Its technical configurations will start from the highest version of the range, that of the EQS 580 4MATIC which is equipped with two electric motors, the first of the EQS 53 with a maximum power of 523 hp and the second with 680 hp, both, giving priority to the rear electric motor.
